Paeroa

位于山脚下 科罗曼德半岛, the small town of Paeroa is neaby to the junction of the Waihou and Ohinemuri Rivers, 以南32公里处 泰晤士河.
Visitors can enjoy one of the culture capitals of the Coromandel地区, 配有历史建筑, like the downtown National Bank Gold Refinery, along with great access to the Karangahake Gorge, where it’s possible to spot some of the rusting relics of the Coromandel’s old mining days.

七米高的柠檬 & Paeroa statue that’s made the town famous throughout the Coromandel is something of an apt symbol for its quirkiness as a whole.

In addition to the heritage-related pursuits, Paeroa’s unique inland position also makes it a great spot for hiking and biking excursions on the Hauraki铁路路线.
